NOT a good deal!! To begin with, the RV didn't come with everything that was listed, primarily cooking utensils. They calculated mileage in advance, based upon where we were going, and we pre-paid a mileage fee. We went EXACTLY where we said we were going, using THEIR route, and found that we owed more money for mileage upon our return. We only used half the allowed generator time, but they wouldn't offset one with the other, and we didn't get any of our generator fee back. We prepaid a security deposit, as well as a $100 "cleaning deposit" and were told that if the RV came back cleaned (according to a provided list), the money could be refunded. We returned the RV in pristine condition, so much so that the rental employee said that he had rarely seen one returned so clean. It took hours to clean, using a hand-vac to clean carpets on hands and knees, cleaning and sanitizing the bathroom, mopping the kitchen area, washing windows, defrosting and cleaning the refrigerator/freezer, and cleaning the oven. The only thing we didn't do was to wash the bed linen/towels.
When our deposit refund check came, lo and behold, it was missing not only the $100 cleaning deposit but additional money as well. Their rationale was that we had not washed linens and that we hadn't washed the OUTSIDE of the RV (top to bottom). My opinion is that this should be like a motel - for $800 a week in basic rental fee (plus mileage and generator fees), washing the OUTSIDE of the vehicle should be their job, not mine. Furthermore, we were told that it is "policy" to clean an RV to ensure that it is "completely sanitary" for the next user. Well, if they were going to clean ANYWAY, then they shouldn't take a cleaning DEPOSIT and provide a listing of what you must clean to get that deposit returned. Deceptive, at best. Why did I bother to waste an entire day of my vacation detailing their RV if it was not only not going to do any good, but they were going to withhold part of my security deposit as well? The entire experience ended up costing us over $1200 in basic fees and "hidden" costs for just one week. Never again - at almost $150 a day, it would have been cheaper to pay for two-three motel rooms, and I wouldn't have had to be the maid service.

Hmmm... Without a real name and e-mail address whos to know if this is a real customer rating the service or just another rental agency trying to make the competition look bad? This rental agency belongs to the Southern Arizona Better Business Bureau as well as the Sierra Vista Chamber of Commerece. Before we rented we check out the credentials and "Report Card" at both sites as well as verified the agency was a member of the Recreational Vehicle Rental Association (RVRA).. We have rented from this agency 3 times and have found thier service to be excellent as well as the lowest prices in Arizona. The other reviewer failed to point out that this rental agency includes "everything" in thier rental price. There are no "Hidden" costs whatsoever.
